I collect vintage Dr Pepper stuff.
Here are some photos--the wooden chest is one I built myself, deliberately very rough and rustic. It is made from 100 year old cypress wood my father in law sawed himself in Louisiana that his home was constructed of. The tin is from my family ranch in Central Texas and the lids bear the brands of both my family and my wife's family, so it is a special piece.
The square green cooler is a 1949 Pelco refrigerated chest, currently undergoing a total and complete restoration.
The white cooler is a holy grail of Dr Pepper collectors, a late 40's Guiberson ice box cooler. This one was an unbranded in original paint and it will be restored in Dr Pepper colors and signage. I
ve included photo of another one identical (but not mine) done in early 50's colors and signs, for reference.
