Finally got around to restoring two of my air meters. The orange one is an original version with water that I've had about 4 years. I had to blast off 3 different layers of old paint (black, orange and white). The red one was in nice original shape when I got it about 16 years ago.

I like the brake drums to make them bottom heavy and keep them form getting knocked over. great idea and looks fine.

I dont think they are brake drums I think they are stands that scobie sells

Brake drums might work, but these are the cast iron bases that Ron Scobie sells. They work great and have Eco and Tireflater embossed on opposite sides. I haven't gotten to painting the embossed lettering yet. The bases are $50 each and best to pickup at a show because they are heavy. Bill.
