Here is a super rare Canadian Vulcanizer 20 Gallon Twin, restored by my friend Jim Williams from Ontario. He recently finished restoring this pump, and I thought I'd share it with you. As I understand it, Vulcanizer was owned by Supertest, and subsequenty they were the only company that used these pumps. Check out the fantastic cast iron handle covers on the sides of this monster. If you are interested in Canadian Oil Company history, please visit Jim's site, http://www.allcanadiancompany.com/ he has labored over it for many years, and there is a lot of great pictures and information there, and don't forget to sign his guestbook. Good Luck on the Hunt Lance / The Pogo Man[This message has been edited by PogoGas.com (edited 02-09-2005).]

Great looking pump, your friend did a great job, by the way what was the Candian fascination with the giant double visible anyway, it wouldn't be an overcompensation thing would it?? HA HA, Just kidding, keep up the good work!! Zach

I forgot to mention, the pump on the bottom right, done in B-A, is a Service Station Equipment Model 700.

Those are sweet... those double are really growing on me. I think I like them better than a Roman! Why not send some of those down here to the states? You guys up there don't need so many! ------------------ WANTED: Sunset Gas/Oil stuff!

There is an original unrestored Canadian Clearvision in the auction on Saturday, its been blasted and primed, it has 2 awesome original triple etched cylinders, heck I even found the curved glass that goes in the ad glass frames, there is nothing needed to find. I agree I like these better than Wayne 492s, they are just so massive, everytime I get to go see the one I did in Shell 2 years ago I just can't believe how big it is.

Lance, I forgot to ask in the last post, whats up with the Redhead sign in the photo, is that a sign or a back lit panel, Seth and I both have a thing for Redhead items, since we both could have passed for the little boy in the sign when we were young.

Zach, I'm not sure of the story on the Red Head sign, it sure is nice though. Pretty hard to beat a big twin, I've seen lots of Clearvisions, it sure is a treat to see something different, and rare. Somewhere I have a collage of 6 different twins, I'll see if I can find it and post it.
