I heard about this guy way out in the desert selling a pump. Turned out it was a Gilbarco 996. Not I pump I really wanted but there is no pump that I don't want... so I followed up.
Turns out the guy had 2, one a 994(?) and an extra door. I got him to sell me both for what he was asking for the one, not bad. I also got him to give me the pump signs. (see other post) They are straight and rust free, the only down side is that both pumps need computers.
Mrs Aquaelvis was cool, even drove out to the desert with me. (105 degrees!)
Here they are:

Hey Jeff, paint one, and put a little television in the top where the computer goes. Put it in your den. Might make a nice conversation piece?

The bowser is better for that , it has a larger opening, just hold them for a while and look for the parts and the computer to sale as a hole pump. ol Don's been on the road so long the next thing you know he'll be wanting to use add glass as counter top material, old cops, lot of wasted space up there, ha ha ha . hows it going doc.

Well Dwaine, I've been doing ok, not great, but ok. I had a good trip to Oregon, but didn't get much time for pump hunting. My tenant had shoulder surgery and couldn't keep up the place, so I had to actually work while I was there.
My anniversary is later this month, and we are going on a camping trip to celebrate. Well, my deffinition of a camping trip anyway. Take the motor home with the dual slideouts, satelite dish, dvd player, surround sound etc., microwave, refridge and spend a few days at our favorite beach up by Lompoc.
Smell the salt air, and listen to the waves pounding. That should clear up my head. I'm taking your advice and "doing something nice for someone". Me !
