Not too much this week... We drove over to Springfield, and found this DX map of a design that I've never seen before. Pretty cool!

Also, we found two thimbles. They're hard to read in the picture, but they're Pierce-Pennant Motor Oils & Gasoline, and Oldsmobile.

Just got back from Dixie Gas and picked this up on the way back. Even though I already had it for a couple months, I am posting it now as I just got it from the restoration shop in Livingston, Tn. The Chevrolet bowtie sign is from the 1920's and is milk-glass letters that light up internally. This sign is all original including the can and all the internal lighting. Even had some of the 34 watt light bulbs still there!!! I am thrilled to add it to my collection.

Couple of the items lately,
Wolfs head tin sign from another oldgasser
Site porc. pump sign,anyone know if this is from the MO. Site oil co.? Does not match any of there logos that I could find.

Wow!! That Wolf's head sign is KILLER.

That looks like a serious piece. Would love to hear the story behind that one.

What's the age on it?
