OK If I can get this upload thing to function, I took some shots around town this evening, uusual weather here, 80 was the high and it's 69 outside now.

IT worked!!!! Previous pic was a classic station until about 10 yrs ago whe they turned it into office space
Shot of the side of one that is now a detail shop

I can't get some of my pix to upload because it says the filename is taken and on this computer if you change the name of a file it is unusable

This is the best one in town, classic corner and fairly intact, as long as I can remember, mid 60's it was Mobil, in operation until the late 80's

Another shot of the same one as last, this one is in a designated historical area, so funding might be there to restore if the current owner would sell.

Cool pics. Looks like early Sinclair, Texaco and Standard stations. I hope someone steps in and brings them back to their former glory. Thanks for the peek.
