Note the hard rubber tires and chain drive.
Probably from the teens.

Hi Frank,
I tried to help with that image, but it is actually an image of a Crown Silver gas pump globe, not a tanker that you probably intended. Please try again.

Frank;
Anxious to see that truck.
I have my Old Roxanna gas can ready to fill up.

You can email me the picture if you want and I will post for you if you're still having trouble with it.

Thanks Frank.
I would guess the Shell Tractor is the same model / probably year as this old Ringling Bros & Barnum Bailey truck, that was on display at our State Fair this year.
It is a 1926 Mack AC Bulldog. The hard rubber tires have been replaced.

I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like driving one of those in the winter... on snow... with hard rubber tires and a chain drive.

Cool pic Frank. All I know with the old suspension & solid tires the ride would be rough,rough,rough. Then with it loaded down I can feel the sore back now. Is the Shellane sign porcelian or a cardboard counter display? Thanks for sharing
