Well after picking away at this circa 1925 Snap On Dealer Showcase Cabinet nights I finally have it cleaned out and all the black nasty greasy grunge off of it.

Just finished it about 20 minutes ago.

I am pretty happy with it. Actually has brass drawer pulls, brass door pulls, and nickel hinges.

I found an added bonus while cleaning the drawers, the paper inserts were turned around and all the info printed on them was still present from Snap On. Only the bottom drawer insert was missing.

No tools.

I will be putting this up for sale maybe next week. I hate to, but this really belongs with a Snap On or tool collector. I am thinking of contacting Snap on directly to see what I can find out from them. If I do sell I will give a contribution back to Oldgas.com.

Alot of you were very helpful in providing me with info on it.

Thanks everyone. Now, it's off to bed.

Looks great. I have some of those Snap-On T handles in my toolbox for 1/2in drive sockets. Are you going to try & restock the cabinet with the tools that go in it? If so I can keep my eye out for some I run into them alot at auctions. Let me know.
