BOWSER Model # Unknown.
While searching the U.S. Patent Office for designers of gas pumps, I typed in Clement P. Griffith, assignor to S.F. BOWSER. He filed for a patent on Sept. 30. 1931.

Cool pump and link, love the fade/patina. Did you get the side site gauge with it or is it MIA?

Thanks for the link, although the visi-gauge is missing, the pump's totally rust free, thanks to pumping Derv most of it's life.
Just found this 1933 ad from a service station magazine.

Derv is diesel, it stands for "diesel engine road vehicle" this term was used to differentiate between road vehicles and agricultural farm vehicles for which the fuel has a lower rate of tax,,and is dyed red.

Gary, We have the same type of situation in the US with our diesel.
Clear is for highway and Dyed is for off-road use.
Luckily for the farmers in Washington State they took off the sales tax for the Dyed a couple of years ago which saves them about 29 cents a gallon.
