Started working on the unfinished half of the basement so I can display my stuff. First I got a couple loads of wood and borrowed a bunch of power tools.

Then I started on the one inside wall as it already had the 2x4 framing there.

Before

After, still needs some finishing work.

The one outside wall before.

I got the frame work going up and am working on the outlets. Want some at floor level for pumps and some up higher for a globe shelf.

I think the pumps and signs will look good with the wood siding background.

I got most of my ideas and help from my brothers. I plan on having a sign hanging party this weekend, more pictures in a few days.

Wes,
Wish I had known you were looking for wood.
Yours looks like 1 x 6/7 beadboard t&g in sy pine. I have 100 boards 1 x 7 x 16 feet tg in sy pine that I don't need. Could have made you a deal. Good luck with your project.

I got most of the siding up, it came out pretty good in my opinion. A couple things may get adjusted later on.

Couple more pictures of the walls. I even chopped a hole in a perfectly good door to put in a doggie door.

Also starting to set the signs out close to the area where I want to hang them.

Gas pump alley. The one pump is wired for lights, the others need some work yet.
