Hey Guys & Gals,
It's time to share the petro relics that we've stumbled across in our recent travels, and check out what other people have found as well.
If you would like to contribute to this feature, simply post the pictures here or email them directly to me and I will post them for you. Be sure to include a story or description with your submissions.
If it's too close to the next installment, please note that I may hold your contribution for posting when the new FATW comes up on the 5th day of each month. Send 'em in!!
Happy trails!
Wes

We'll start off this month with some very cool photos taken by Rod Van Pelt. This old Mobil station is located somewhere in Nebraska. I really like these stationlighter tops! Thanks Rod!

I believe that this station was originally an old Diamond cottage. The roof is really the giveaway. The front of the part with the hip roof was once an archway with pumps in it. This was cut out at some point and replaced with the overhead door. Here's a nice old Shell station Wes

Check out this cool old neon/porcelain and chaser light sign! It's located on Route 66 in IL. This old station has been turned into a barber shop. At least they've kept it in nice condition. Wes

Somewhere in Oregon. From the Columbia Gorge Michelle and I were heading South on Hwy 97. It is right along the Hwy. If you blink you'll miss it. In fact I did miss it and had to turn around to get a picture. Mike
