I don't know if it's Exxon or Power-lube I'm close on but for Exxon or Enco or Esso it might be the tiger in your tank for gasoline. Powerlube would be the early tiger picture on the oil containers. Ted

I don't know that much about that company but they did have those cool signs. Maybe some gasoline. Other than that I give up. Come on you other Rocky mountain gas geeks. Help out. Ted

Wfort you got it! Powerine motor fuel pictured below. Look at the similarities in the design. I spoke to the son of the designer last night and he ran me through the company history and sent me some photos. I was so excited. He invited me to take some pictures of the rest of his Powerine collection which I will happily post pictures of this summer. He did tell me that there never was a Bearcat globe but I have heard that there are a few. Anyone know any details??? Also the guy is despratley searching for a map from the company with the bearcat logo. If anyone has one let me know I think he has some things he may trade. Scott

There is a globe pictured in volume one of the globe books with this logo. The logo on the globe is much closer in likeness to the sketch than the other photo that was submitted.

I have a 6' tall red Powerine gas pump ... round cylindrical (I assume from the 1920 -30s??) glass top. The hose is dried out a bit and slight crackling, small crack in the glass, paint is quite faded red. It's not in perfect condition, but it is absolutely fabulous. It probably had a top globe, but we never received it that way; it was a gift to my mom over 35 years ago. It's in storage and unfortunately I have no photos ... trying to find a value on this for an interested buyer? Any thoughts? I'd even try to refurbish it, but haven't found ANY parts anywhere for Powerine items....
