I have hundreds of pictures of gas stations so I thought I'd start posting a picture of a station everyday for awhile.I've been posting them under my morning hello for a couple weeks now but thought I'd do something different.
Feel free to comment or I'd really like to see pics of some of the items in your collection that is from the station. We'll see how it goes.
Some pics are good quality some not so good.
Enjoy,
Tom

Here's todays pic:

Hope you don't mind me camping on your topic. Just found this picture of a Gilmore Station yesterday as I was going through a box of a friends family photos. Anyone know where this place is?

Look forward to seeing more or your photos!

Curt

Nice!
Forgive my flatlandedness, but what grades of gas were the Liberty and the Fleet brands? Was Liberty a Gilmore brand?

The Pennzoil sign, looks very similar to the NOS Pennzoil spinner sign I posted in BOTW a couple days ago.

GILMORE FLEET was a cheapier grade than BLU-GREEN regular.
LIBERTY was an independant.
GILMORE made very few large signs, so they had local sign painters go out and paint their large signs. They were given a small drawing or picture to use as a referance [look at the poorly done version in Curt's picture].
