This month I would like to start out with Sky Chief only. As you may know Texaco had a bunch of plates so in coming months we can add fire chief, disel and marine. The plates came in different sizes. The early one I've seen in 12x18 and 8x12. The second version in 1955 I've only seen in 12x221/2 . The third came in 8x12, 10x15 and 12x18. I have all the sizes but did not have them together to show the size differences. My first time at posting pictures so hope it goes all right. Ted

I have 2 curved ones from the 40's. Don't know how to get pics on quick but you can look up ebay #3205887068 old auction. I would sell them if i get a decent price. I think these were the first porcelain signs i got, just around that time I turned down 2 Texaco keyholes for about 100.00 onew was a 8 and the other a 9+.. Learned quick after that......................dodogas

Hey dodogas,
Sorry, I don't have a TOWER of these. But wanted to share/show how I displayed the curved signs [they don't hange very well on a flat wall]. I tacked up two small strips of wood, then used a couple of finish nails to hold the signs.
Dick
