Here's all I have to offer regarding the "H" catagory. I have what many may call a "very small" can collection, I call it a descent start. Doc beat me to the draw on his old Havoline but I do have two of the more recent Texaco Havolines. One is a quart and one is a gallon and they are both metal. Doc's Havoline does look better than mine.

Thanks for the good job you guys do with this monthly topic, I certainly appreciate your hard work!!

I know we have had some Havoline cans but you are going to get the history with these. These first two were when Indian refining owned the company.

The next two are exactly the same but the one on the left is the back side and is Indian refining and the one on the right is when the Texas oil company bought them out. What year was that? Anyone know? Anyone care? Anyone looking at this post? Ted

Here are some more Havoline cans. The one on the left has no date but in 1954 like the one on the right is dated and a rating finally shows up on the can which is MS (motor severe) which was the highest rating back then.

The one below here is dated 1959. Ted

Back with more Havoline. Not too many more to go. The one on the left is the old logo 1962 and the right new logo 1968.

Here below are two all metal 1977 and 1979.

Here are the last two. 10-30 composite on the left 1977 and back to metal on the right 1978. Ted

THE END
