It’s the day after Christmas, my wife’s really mad
I wish I could blame her, I’ve been really bad.

The guests are all gone and the house is a mess
Decorations are up and the tree is still dressed.

There’s ribbon and wrapping and bows all untied
There laundry and dishes and gifts piled high.

I’ll sleep on the sofa, I really don’t mind
I tried to be helpful, I’ve tried to be kind.

I’m begging, I’m pleading she just has to see
I’m really not good at hiding my glee.

It’s the day after Christmas I’m really a chump
I spent the whole day out finding a pump!

Bowser 575 and ain’t she a chocolate coated beauty!

Actually my wife is okay, she even consented to a pump hunting journey. That’s my almost 13 year old son Byron holding up the pump.

Below is the Chevron decal under the coat of chocolate. Pump had a white face with seafoam green sides under that (Flying A ?)

Oh yeah, I got a ping pong table for Christmas. (Couple of nice Petro related books too).

Nice find Curt!
IMHO the green and off White is the original colors of the Chevron Supreme between 1945-55. The decal without the hallmarks also indicate the same time period.
Here are the paint codes from PCM's guide to gas pump restoration:
Sherwin-Williams Chevron Green: 50147, Chevron Cream: 48780.
have a great day!

Hey Claes, thanks for the color specs. Never knew Chevron used green. May have to redo this one in Chevron.

As for the rest of you characters, you're right, I'm addicted. My limit is now $100.00, this pump cost me fifty bucks! Can't pass up a cheap date.

Nice pump for 50 bucks! I will give 100.00 for it, just think that would be a 50.00 profit and your next date would be free.

Yes, it was a farn pump. The guy I got it from dragged it home from the farm where it was used to his property nearby (the owners gave it to him). This is out in Huasna, California which is about 15 miles south east of the towns of Arroyo Grande and Pismo Beach along the coast.

That's why the pump has a nice suntan!

Got these from eBay sellers.
This Lucas Auto Paint sign is dirty but is in great shape. Now I'm looking for an auto paint can to go with this.

This DuPont sign isn't specifically auto paint, but it has porcelain so thick, the letters look embossed. Thanks to Ron Bettin for the tip pointing me to this one.

This NOS Zephyr gas attendant hat cover now has me looking for a hat to put it on. Help!
