I saw a couple of 3 inch porcelain Ethyl signs yesterday and was wondering if they ever made Ethyl signs in this size or if they are reproduction? There are no mounting holes in them and they have the later EC (Ethyl Corporation) logo. Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure they ever repo'd the sign in this size. There were originals. I bought a stack of them at auction many years ago. I think the stack had 20 or so in it. Still have most of them, NOS. They were applied with an adhesive. I've found a few pumps with them still attached and they can be tricky to remove without bending the door or the sign.

I've seen several of these used as covers on sightglass manifolds where there were no sightglasses. On Bennett 900 Series pumps mostly.
