Well, my first Wayne 60 is restored (except the white hose that is still on back order). I started my first pump a year ago and I finished my 3rd yesterday. I have learned a lot thanks to this site and some trial and error with a spray gun. This pump was restored with auto industrial type paint. The orange is Deltron DBU60518 and the black is DBU9700 and I sprayed an Omni SV clear coat. Thanks to T-Bone’s dad, Frank, for selling me the pump. Thanks to Lance at Pogogas for a beautiful set of 15 “ Johnson Gasolene lenses. Thanks T-way for the awesome Johnson decals. Thanks Vic’s place for the clockface conversion kit, globe holder, bolts, and white hose (to come). Everything else on the pump is original except the wiring.

What inspired me to restore a Wayne 60? I was at Fred’s Gas Bash last October and saw a Wayne 60 restored by a nice guy named Larry from Arizona. It was done in Gilmore and the pump was awesome. I asked him a few questions about painting technique, etc. I put in on the back burner until I was able to get a Wayne 60 this last August.

What inspired me to restore the pump in Johnson Gasolene? This oldgas website got me hooked on Johnson after it was Company of the month about 6 months ago. Ever since then, I knew I would be restoring my Wayne 60 in Johnson. I will be having somebody post some pictures for me and I will post one last picture when I get the white hose in the mail. I was too excited to wait. Hope you all enjoy. ~Jason

Here are the pictures of Jason's pump. Great job Jason especially for only your third pump. We all know your second pump is known as "RED PIMP". What did you name this one.LOL.

Great Job Jason! thanks for sparking the flame again. I've got to finish another pump. However, seeing you with your dust mask on, I got the shakes thinking of going to the dentist. ha.
