Hey Hubba, I went to the Pit Stop and checked out the picture. Looks great on the red body. Let me know if you need help with the picture. Pops

Hubba's Mobil Premium dates from 1962-66.
The Mobilgas Special is from '36-'62.
The Pegasus is one of the most recognizable logos ever used. What were they thinking back in the 60's when they dropped it?
Thanks for sharing these globes Hubba.
There's a ton more Mobil globes out there. How 'bout posting a few? Anyone have a Gargoyle? Bob

Mobil is one of my main interests, the other is Standard Oil of Kentucky (KYSO). Here are some of our Mobil Globes: These next 3 globes are foreign. The square one is from England. The small etched one was used in France in 1930. The next one has a black porcelain frame. This is a european Mobil Lens. The Pegasus faces rite and the lens is flatter than ours are. ------------------ [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).]

Here are some more of my Mobil globes: The Mobil Marine White is the only one known at this time. Most of them just say Marine. The Mobilgas Green was only made for one year 1932-1933. There aren't very many of these around. The Mobilgas Aircraft was used between 1935 and 1962. The Whadams Giant was used from 1932 to 1940. ------------------ [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).] [This message has been edited by rext@worldnet.att.net (edited 03-18-2003).]

Great globes Rex!!!!!!
Some of these are quite rare.
The Gargoyle oval is an oil cabinet globe. It was used from 1920-35.
The "W" globe is a lightpost globe from Wadhams. It's from the teens.
The Metro globe is from the 1940-55 era.
Standard Kerosene was from Socony. Its from '34-'40 period.
Mobilheat Stove Oil dates from '55-'62. The Mobilgas Aircraft is another great globe.
The Marine White is an amazing globe! Its from the '50-'62 era.
The Mobilgas with green letters is from Vacuum Oil.
The Socony globe dates from the mid-20's to the mid-30's.
Thanks for sharing these great globes with us Rex.
Even with all the globes that have been pictured, there are still many more globes fromn Mobil and their affiliates. Anyone have any Magnolia or General globes they can post? How about Bartles or Gilmore? Bob

Richard Weir sent me these pictures. The first globe is the familiar White Eagle that was used from '24-'32. The second is from SOCONY and dates from the teens through 1926. The Staroline/White Star Ethyl is a rare globe from the 1926-'30 era. The Mobilgas Ethyl is another rare globe. It was only used for a few years in the mid-1930's. This White Star globe is extremely rare. It was from 1918-1920 era. Thanks Richard for sharing these great globes! We still have a couple weeks to post more Mobil and affiliates globes.
