I seen a Cities Service globe sell at Peotone this past weekend and you have to love the clover globes and so this month we're going to feature globes from Cities Service and affiliated companies. Thanks to the globe books by Scott Benjamin and Wayne Henderson here's the list of companies involved:

We had Cities Service here in England in the late 30s, globes were branded Citex and later sold to Fina.



Also a yellow ray Loreco Ethyl, there's also a blue ray version.

This globe dates from the early 1920's.

This is a Pioneer Oil Co globe. This company was based in my town of Carthage and Joplin, MO. It is on an unusual wide Hull body.
