As I sat down to start on May's "Remember When..." article, I read Poor Man's post. So as not to take away from his topic, I am posting this new one. I have the same question as Poor Man. Is there any interest in my "Remember When..."? Mine do not take as much time and no legwork as Curt's, but it is still very time consuming. I know the lack of pictures hurts the article, but CTO magazine has denied any reprinting of pictures and exact wording of articles. And I don't have a scanner if they did permit it. I surely do not mind doing it...if there is interest. Please let me know one way or the other. You can email me personaly if you do not want to post. Thank you.

I think this is great too. It is a great tool to guage how this stuff goes up in value and makes us all cringe when we see what we could or should have bought at the time we thought it was too high. I say please continue as I enjoy the reading.

GARY - I AGREE WITH THE REST OF THE GUYS.....KEEP THAT "REMEMBER WHEN" STUFF COMIN'! I HAVE TONS OF THAT OLD STUFF LYING AROUND FROM 10+ YEARS AGO MYSELF, BUT FINDING THE TIME TO POST SOMETHING YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY IS VERY TIME CONSUMING, AND I AGREE THAT PICS RULE, IF YA CAN POST 'EM!

For each guy who posts a comment that he likes something, there are a hundred or maybe many hundreds of viewers out there who look and read regularly but seldom, if ever, post messages. We do this for them too. Many newly registered Shop Talk members tell me they have been watching and reading for years before they clicked the Register button.
Count me in too, Gary. I know it takes some work, but we love this stuff. Sometimes we're slow on saying so.
