I had a good year adding to my collection. I was able to go to the Columbia show, Peatone in the spring, Columbus and Iowa. I also bought from friends and family plus ebay. Most of my items were shown before in the BOTW over the past year but here they are again.

First up is a sign I got off ebay the week of the spring Peatone show. I have seen a matching Sinclair fertalizer sign also.

Next is a shot of my first pump and glass bodied globe. I got this the week of Iowa.

My second pump, a 36B

A collection of signs from Iowa

And last is a sign I just got. It is old, I am guessing from the teens or 20's, and it is made out of stone. I saw wood, porcelain, tin, cardboard and plastic signs before but this is the first stone one I got. It is broke along the bottom. Dad had the neighbor make a wood frame for it to hold it in place. I will post some pictures of the finished sign and a picture of a building that used to have signs like this along the top of it later on

A lot of effort went into get the globe made for the above pump. Getting it restored was the easy part!

A pair of rare gallons

The whole shelf is new for 2006. It will be hard to top it for 2007 but I WILL try!!!

As you guys should know by now that I am die hard Billups.....The song book of Jimmie Davis sponsered by Billups petroleum.
Jimmie davis was a 2 time Gov. of Louisiana.
Once in the 40's and again in 1960. You may best know him as the writer and singer of the classic "You are my sunshine". an unopen pack of Billups brand cig's and an orginal article dated 1953 of the smokes.
The sign that I went after in Pearl Mississippi and a 2 gallon can thanks to my good friend SOUPERHIGH (M. Campbell)
This stuff is just so hard to find....Got more stuff but I'm keeping it to just 5 pic's.
