I believe I would check in to it your account maybe highjacked. Doesn't make much sense. Make sure it is from Ebay, something sounds a miss.
But yes I get them upon winning a auction all the time. But its something I'm bidding on!

Did someone hijack your eBay account & then act as you & bid on this item? And also is it really eBay contacting you?

emails are coming in from ebay unless these hackers are that good and make it look like it's ebay.

It’s extrenely easy for hackers to make it look like the email is coming from eBay, Tankar. Click on the sender’s info and see what the ACTUAL email is that is sending these to you. Forward it as Randy says if it’s not from the actual eBay email that is supposed to be sending these to you. PayPal and eBay are two very commonly used sites for phishing emails like this. They look and act like they are from the real companies but upon further investigation into the senders info, the emails are never actually associated with the real companies at all. Change your passwords and, if possible, make a new email if you feel it’s compromised. In my dealings, a new email account will solve ALL problems relating to incessant phishing emails.
Looking for Michelin items + NJ oil company related items (Mohawk, Guardian, Whiz, etc) + animal-related petroliana + Gargoyle/Shell/Sinclair items

If it is a real message from eBay, it will be shown in the "Messages" section of your "My eBay" page. Login and look at it, along with "Recent Purchases"
A tech savvy crook can make an email look like it is very real. Always login to know if it is the real thing. Never click on the link in an email from eBay, Paypal, your bank or credit card company.
