Has anyone ever made their own Island lights? I would like to make 2 for my island I'm doing since they're so expensive to buy. I found the harp and bonnet at gaspumpheaven.com, it takes a 2 1/4" pipe. I am new to the hobby and only have 1 pump done, just bought a second this week, and have a lubester coming, so I want to build an island to display everything.

Hey Jake,
I'm in the Iron Business and have a cast iron base for a 2 3/8" O.D. pipe that would make a nice Island Light Post. PM me if interested.....Thanks, Owen ...Also have it in aluminum ...lighter to ship...also have lots of other cast iron designs for accents on this project or other projects.

Wow you have some really nice stuff, we could have all kinds of fun with iron like that! I was just looking for some kind of base that I could attach a pipe to and make my own skins to replicate an island light. I have cnc lathe and mill capabilities, but a chunk of steel that's 10" dia. to make 2 bases is about $250.

What size pipe are you using? This base has a 2 3/8" hole all the way through it. $55.00 each....$50.00ea aluminum...Have some bigger ones too!

The pipe is 2 1/4" I.D., so it's probably got an O.D. of 2 1/2" or so, could the hole in the columns be opened up just a bit to fit??
Also, about how tall are these? Thanks
-Jake

Ok, I'll use a reducer bushing to fit the 2" pipe into the 2 1/4" harp, how much would shipping be for 2 aluminum ones to 49405? Thanks

Owen, do you have anything like lengths of fluted iron that could be made to accept 2"pipe?

Have anything that would work for a base for a Revere Island light pole? I have 2 that were cut at the base.

Thanks
Chris
