By "fit" I take it you mean to ask iof they were original equiptment for the 55? In my opinion,NO but then I don't know what model they came on either. I would say they have value but mostly to someone that has the correct model car and NEEDS them.

From what I find they are a 1955 or 1956 chevy BEL-AIR wire wheel option from factory But I can not document that. HELP

Not sure if they are factory or aftermarket, but you are in the correct years. Kelsey Hayes also made a true wire wheel that looked similar during those same years.

55 and 56 came with 15 inch wheels. 57 was first 14 inch on full size Chevrolet...

I was at the Gm dealer today they did offer a 15inch for the 55-56 chevy with a wire wheel cap. It was an option from Gm. Off to eBay if anybody needs them. (190704582679) Thanks for all the help. Scott
