I'm posting this now because a reproduction pump plate has just been posted on ebay. The seller has not listed it as original but says he believes it is from the 50's. I emailed the seller to inform them it is a reproduction.

Real one has rounded corners and thin white trim
Fake has square corners and solid red border. I bought a couple from Vic's for an outside pump. $25 EACH. Ted
