I am slowly progressing on my first pump, a Tok 300.
I have taken the Veder Root to the car wash, pressure washed it, dried it and put PB penetrating oil to it.
How to I start to free it up? Should I work on the small shaft at the bottom? Is there a lever or something I need to release to make the gears turn? The whole thing looks like a crossword puzzle all in the same color to me.
Second, its pretty rough looking so Im thinking of painting it, here at home, out of an aerosol can. Any suggestions?
