Pre-Visible: GENERIC term used Loosely to describe any 1-5 gal. pump used for dispensing liquids @ hardware stores, paint stores, commercial, carriage houses, stations etc. & not having a 5/10 gal glass cylinder. Some of these type pumps were still being made into the 50's as a low cost way of pumping liquids.
Curb pump: any pump having a cover that could be locked when not in use that sat on curb next to roadway.
Lubester: GENERIC term used Loosely for any oil/grease/thinner dispenser found around old stations/farms/hardware & paint stores. Mostly used to describe 15-60 gal tanks w/ 1qt & 1gal pumps on top.
