Called a guy today about a bennett pump he had up for sale in the classifed ads. Went to see it and turned out his father owned a B/A station. Like father in the 60's he bought a B/A station which later turned into a gulf station. He had managed to get this 4 x 8 DSP sign from the B/A bulk Station in Thunder Bay. We got into haggling over it and it is now mine. Couldn't strap it to the top of the SUV so will be going back this weekend with a truck. The sign is in very good shape for the age ..very heavy shelving and will clean up very well. He has just moved into a new home and went from a 40x50 garage to a 40 x 19. Many boxes still unpacked but he stated he has a slew of handy oilers. When I head back this week he was going to have them ready for viewing. He also showed me his 5 gallon oil can collection. about 30 of them in all. Supertest, EN-AR-CO, Havoline, Texaco, White Rose Red Indian Aviation etc. He will be pricing them for me so we can discuss on the next visit. Many BOTW coming for me in the next week...YAAAAHHHOOO! So it just goes to show you what a single add for a pump can lead to.
