Bob, if you look at the ad at the bottom of page 6 in this thread you will see an attendant pressing a quart into a pouring can. Possibly a hole puncher similar to the one that is in Aaron's photo resides at the bottom of the pouring can. I have had a number of early Canadian quarts that were punched out this way. They would sure make a mess pouring if you had to do it freehand. Cheers, Don.
