The Bennett 76 and 77 came in an early and later version with both versions having a two or four ad glass top. These were also sold with SSE 76, 77 ID tags (Service Station Equipment). They were made from 1935 to 1939. The early model has a external visi guage and a one piece casted face bezel with the trim part chrome plated. Some of the real early models had a cast iron top, the rest a pot metal top. The later model has a sight glass in the face with cut outs in the trim area and separate stainless trim that fit in place. The 76 is a computing pump with a Veeder Root and the 77 is a non-computing pump with a clock unit. The early model had a different reset handle the the later. These pumps also had east ans west coast light units like the 300 and 500 series. There was also a special face bezel made for Sohio. I do not have a lot of pictures of these pumps but do have an early and late model.
