So in the late 70's before I could drive I bought a 6 foot long Goodyear sign from an auction. The sign was from a roadside museum and in great shape with bold graphics. I wanted to keep it looking good. At the time I was told to wax it with automotive type wax which I did and it looked really good.
The problem is now all these years later the white portion of the sign looks yellowish which I assume is from the wax I had put on it.
So, what is the best way to restore this sign to it's best possible condition without damaging the finish?
