This Mobilgas “progressive” globe is 13 ½” on an original narrow-body glass frame. It’s pictured on page 231 of the Benjamin/Henderson Gas Globe CD and is designated rarity 6, which means “Unique – one of a kind – only one known”. This Vacuum Oil Company logo was used in the late 1920’s thru the early 1930’s. Most globes you see with this logo are 15” or larger on metal frames. Both lenses and the frame are in excellent condition, with no cracks or discoloration. The frame has an original copper screw-on base, also in excellent condition. $2,900 or best offer. Will remove lenses and double box with plenty of bubble wrap and peanuts. You can contact me at pegasusdude@yahoo.com or at 937-763-1690 if you have any questions.
