Picked up a pump with a nice bit of patina (no rot, just three layers of color schemes visible and a healthy bit of rust) that was branded to sell Shell gasoline (shell colors, shell decal) but the decal had a previous owner take a scraper to it to the point that only pieces of the OG decal are barely visible. I’d really like to find a PP that matches that level of patina/rust/wear, a condition, say, that most here probably wouldn’t look twice at as it has minimal value as a sign.
