Hello, about 20 years ago i bought a Yellow stop sign from an old guy in my town, he was the former Mayor, and his father had served as Mayor sometime before him.
When looking over the sign he told me it had been in service on the main Highway intersection in town. I purchased it because I found it unusual and cool. It has a glass insert behind the STOP portion with Neon inside.

I hung it in my shop and didn't pay it much mind, until I was at an antique fair and saw how much people were wanting for the Yellow Cats Eye signs.

My sign had no wiring, and no transformer inside. But the Neon unit was intact.

So I took the Neon unit to a sign shop in Omaha that repairs Neon, the woman there lit it up and said the Neon is fine, she ordered me a modern transformer, similar to what is used on a beer sign.

Now I am in the process of mounting the transformer inside, it will have a plug in and a pull switch.

I will post pics of it all together when I get that done. Have any of you folks seen this sign before? There is no manufacturer label, the housing is cast aluminium, it has a steel back. It is about 24" across and 4" deep. Paint is original from what I can tell. Comments?
