I’m a new member and I’m restoring a 1927 sternwheel boat. It was built in Pt Pleasant WV, then purchased by AD Elliot of St Mary’s WV to push Sterling Gasoline barges. She was sold to the Crain brothers from Pittsburgh in 1950, where she worked doing everything from river construction to pushing coal barges until she was retired in 1982. I’m looking for history on the company and for any contacts with memorabilia.
