If it weren't for this website I'd never have heard of Sunset or Seaside or dozens of other early western gasoline brands. My second Sunset pump is finally finished. It carries Sunset DeLuxe lettering. This pump is shown "naked" in one of the posted pictures to illustrate the internal parts. Both the pumps are Wayne Boyle-Dayton cut 83s. Also posted is a primordial photo of this very same pump as it looked on the ranch where I found it in 1978. The ranch owner gave it to me but it took naerly 28 years to get it to where it now glows. It would never look this good if it weren't for Willy Brown, metalsmith and paint wizard and, of course, Mike Slama (lenses and decal) and Ron Scobie (hose and,not shown, handle.)
