info. needed on Magnolia Gas sign ???

Can someone please give me an estimate of how old a particular porcelain double-sided sign is? It's a 36" Magnolia gas sign. It says Magnolia Petroleum Company in red around the border--it has a magnolia in the middle--and in a blue background under the flower says: Magnolia Gas sold here. Is it pre-50s? How rare are these? Were they hung in front of the store (they seem a little small for that) Any info. would be appreciated. thanks
