Those paint codes can be quite old and present problems. My preference is to match my pump colors to colors in the decal or sign. The decal is displayed over the door color and I try to blend it as closely as possible. You will also see a large variation in color depending on who repro'd your decal or sign and variation between decal and globe. This variation exists in original signs and decals as well. I try to use colors from the Ditzler base color chart and the Dupont Fleet Color Chart.(most can be crossed over to the other) Fleet solid colors tend to be brighter and more vibrant than typical automotive colors.
