pump worth $350??

A junk dealer in our area has an old pump that is missing the glass top, the indicator, and the metal top that went on it. I have no idea what kind of pump it is..there are no markings on it. All sheetmetal appears to be there otherwise. He wants $350 for it. I am new at this..does that sound like a fair price for an old unknown pump??
