: I just was given an old Bennet pump. The ID plate says the model number is 646B, but I haven't had much luck finding any reference the this model. It is a Canadian pump, is quite slender, and a little over 6 feet tall, without the globe. Can anyone give me some info on this pump, ie age, etc. Thanks in advance!

Alan, the 646 is a post war pump produced in a 6 ft version until 52 when they cut 16 inches off the bottom, moved the ad glass to below the face and called it the "modern" 766. Lots of repro available including faces, bennet emblems, horseshoe tags, etc.
