Understand this was a small chain of service stations in the West during the mid 30's to late 40's.
I've recently acquired an outdoor thermometer, approx.
18" dia. with three, red stylized galloping horses on
a white porcelain background with temperature increments of -30 to +130. Heavy, convex glass over the porcelain dial. Any info you care to share on this item? Approx. date mfg, value, etc? It's in beautiful shape although I must admit I sandblasted the outer ring and repainted it as the original color.
