Flying A dog, plastic bank

Hi- A friend of mine just purchased, and its not for sale, a molded plastic dog bank that has a Flying A collar on which is part of the casting and not a add on. He is very curious about how much this is worth and what the history of it may be. I have not seen it so can not give much for details other than what he told me on the phone. He has looked in collectible's books, he's an antique dealer, and can find just about everything Flying A except this dog. Oh and he said it is lying down and kind of a flop eared hound type.
