: I am restoring a Gilbarco tireflater that has the same internal parts as the ECO model 30 series. The diaphram is bad and will have to be replaced. This part is approx.1/8 thick and is constructed like a fan belt in that it has cotton belting between the rubber layers to stiffen it. I can cut out a piece of rubber to fit but do not know if the stiffness of the original is essential. Does anyone have experience with this? Help please. Steve

Hi Steve,
Ron Scobie sells parts for Eco, Gilbarco and other air meters including rubber diaphrams. See his site at gaspump.com or call (651) 653-6503 evenings (central time)
