Ted, do you mean citGo or citCo. My library has no references for citco gas. If we are talking Citgo here, their predecessor was Cities Service. CS started in 1911 and was originally a supplier of gas, oils and other utilities in cities, hence, Cities Service. In 1965 they changed their name to Citgo. They are now entirely owned by the state oil company of Venezuela.
