Dear hinge troubled Bob,
I have done several Bennett pumps and I heve enjoyed them all.
First make sure all of your hinges are moving freely and they are all rotating the same distance from the frame, about 1/8".
Make sure all of your pins on the doors are as straight as they can be.
Install the door with the hinges in the full opened position and the door in the full opened position.
The hinges have a tab on the outside of the opening for the door pin that makes them work properly.
I hope you don't get too frustrated.
