Charlie, a NOS (new old stock) Mobilgas top was sold at the Columbus gas show in June. It had new original inserts and was in perfect condition with the stickers still in place. Asking price was $385.00. It sat there for both days and finally sold on Friday afternoon. I assume that it sold for less than asking but probably not much less.
Reproduction inserts cost $85.00 a pair which most all need as the old inserts and new paint do not look good together. If one assumes that yours will also need sandblasting and painting then a typical price would be around $250 each. I would be interested in buying the Special top.
