I'm trying to acquire information on a gas pump with the above subject patents. The ID plate reads "American Pump & Tank Co. (American Long Distance Systems) No. 4382, Cincinnati, Ohio" with the above patents. The pump stands approx 5 feet high. It has a metal cylinder for metering rather than glass, with tabs which would be used to measure gallons or parts of a gallon. It needs work and I would love to restore it. A pump similar to this appears in an architectural book entitled "Fill 'er Up" showing a 1910 photograph of a Central Oil Company station in Michigan dated 1910. Any help would be appreciated.
