Jeff, First of all, congratulations on getting such a neat pump. The Apex 90 was made from 1930 to 1933. Nozzles used during that period were cast bronze. The discharge tube was either a curved pipe or a piece of flex tubing. When new the flexible tube was very stiff. Many of the used ones are worn and the flex tube goes all over the place. Pass on those. Most all nozzles of this period had a cast in hook at the top of the nozzle by the discharge tube. This was to hang the nozzle up. Virtually no visible pump and only some of the clockfaces had a "socket" to hold the nozzle. The nozzle was instead hooked on a pump mounted bracket. On most clockfaces this bracket was usually combined with the pump switch. Even if your pump has a "socket" a nozzle with a hook would still be considered correct. Very occasionally you will find these nozzles chromed by the manfacturer. While these would also be correct, most people think that they are from a later period and will give you grief about them.
Nice story about the missing sheetmetal but you will have to weld a new piece in place. Originally the pricing panel would have utilized a pipe bracket and would have been fitted at the visiguage. Good Luck, Steve
