Rick, pick up a copy of the gas pump collectors guide as seen under the book section of this site. It has the paint color schemes for several of the independents that were later bought out. For those not listed, use the colors found on a globe or sign and use an old picture as your guide for the color layout. As a rule, decals, pump plates and globes for the independents are not available in reproduction so you will have to have them made or buy originals. By now you have realized that you have chosen to go the expensive route. This is fine as long as you realize it up front. Steve
